These <br /> ordinances were referred to the Town for comment under Section 2.6 of the <br /> Joint Planning Agreement. . <br /> The Aldermen voted to refer to you and to the Board of Commissioners <br /> the enclosed staff and Carrboro 1g Board comments on the proposed <br /> amendments. In addition to these comments, the Aldermen wished to stress <br /> the importance of the first of the Planning Board's comments on the <br /> Environmental Impact Ordinance. The Aldermen would like the question of <br /> the intended applicability of the proposed Environmental Impact Ordinance <br /> answered definitively before the public hearing scheduled for February 27. <br /> If the intent is for the ordinance to be applicable within Cairbores pinning <br /> jurisdiction,including the Transition Area,there are several changes that <br /> must be made in the ordinance;if not the ordinance should clearly state that <br /> intent. . <br /> - . _ <br /> Sincerely, <br /> - -_ <br /> - - •-- <br /> .
