7 <br /> • <br /> In addition to land provided or dedicated for <br /> active recreation purposes, sufficient area <br /> shall be provided to make available a minimum <br /> of five (5) off-street parking spaces for the <br /> first two (2) acres of each recreation site <br /> and one (1) space for each additional acre <br /> thereafter. <br /> Where any of the following facilities are also <br /> provided, off-streets parking as required <br /> shall be provided in addition to the general <br /> standard above. <br /> Swimming pool One (1) space <br /> for each five <br /> (5) patrons <br /> • <br /> Soccer and ball fields Eight (8) spaces <br /> per acre <br /> Tennis/handball courts Two (2) spaces <br /> per court <br /> Picnic Shelter area One (1) space <br /> for each ten <br /> (10) patrons. <br /> Basketball courts Five (5) spaces <br /> • Der court <br /> Each off-street, parking space shall be a <br /> minimum of nine (9) feet in width and eighteen <br /> (18) feet in length. A minimum back-up aisle <br /> of twenty-four (24) feet in width shall be <br /> provided for access to and from each space. <br /> Bay parking is prohibited, and entrance to and <br /> exit from each parking area shall be by <br /> forward motion of the vehicle. One (1) of the <br /> parking spaces provided must be barrier-free <br /> • and identified for use by individuals with <br /> physical disabilities. Handicapped spaces <br /> shall be at least twelve (12) feet in width <br /> and shall be designed as follows: <br /> • <br /> (a) So that handicapped individuals are <br /> not compelled to wheel or walk <br /> behind parked cars; <br />
