This amendment would apply to <br /> major as well as minor subdivisions. <br /> The Planning Department recommended that a policy be <br /> established regarding application of the recreation <br /> requirements to subdivisions already in the approval <br /> process. The following subdivisions were proposed to <br /> be exempt from the recreation dedication/payment-in- <br /> lieu requirements: <br /> 1. Major subdivisions which receive preliminary <br /> plan approval prior to the effective date of the <br /> amendment to Section IV-B-7-b; and <br /> 2. Minor subdivisions which receive final plat <br />
