rzç Ill V 1E <br /> 00111. <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS <br /> FROM: JOHN LINK, COUNTY MANAGER <br /> VIA PAM JONES, PURCHASING DIRECTOR <br /> DATE: MAY 10, 1989 <br /> RE: AIRPORT SITE WORK SESSION <br /> The airport work session set during the May 1 Commissioner's <br /> meeting, will be held in the Superior Courtroom on May 15 <br /> beginning at 6:00 p.m. <br /> This work session is intended to bring the Commissioners <br /> together with the EDC and Planning Board members to review <br /> the revised matrix and discuss it 's application to the <br /> sites retained for further study. While the Consultants will <br /> make brief comments about the matrix, the primary focus will <br /> be to receive comments from the various Boards and Commission <br /> members. <br /> An ad hoc committee composed of the Chair and Vice-Chair of <br /> the Board of Commissioners, and the Chairs of the EDC and the <br /> Planning Board, met on May 8 to discuss the criteria as <br /> suggested by the Consultants. The committee suggested minor <br /> modifications in the weighting given to access time as well <br /> • as suggested adding the category titled "Proximity to <br /> Compatible Land Use for Economic Development". Other than <br /> those changes, the Consultant's interpretation of input from <br /> all sources seemed accurately reflected in the matrix. <br /> We are enclosing a copy of the matrix for your review. <br /> Please bring your comments and/or questions to the <br /> May 15 meeting. <br />
