C. 27278
SUBJECT: Wyngate Subdivision Off SR 1709 (Lawrence Road) - Preliminary Plan
Dear Ms. Crudup: -
This is to advise that the subject preliminary plan has been reviewed by this
office. Based upon this review, the following comments are offered:
1. Entrance location appears to be adequate.
2. Typical entrance design is preferred; however, a divided entrance
may be used. Design should be submitted to this office for review.
3. 10' X 70' sight triangles are required at ALL intersections.
4. No horizontal curve data was provided.
It appears that this portion of Lawrence Road is on the Hillsborough
thoroughfare plan. Mr. Danny Rogers of Statewide Planning in Raleigh has
informed this office that Lawrence Road will require a 100' right-of-way
and Old NC 10 will require a 60' right-of-way east of the intersection.
It is highly recommended that this right-of-way be dedicated as part of this
development. A copy of the plan is attached for your use.
If you have any question regarding any of the aforementioned comments,
do not hesitate to contact this office.
. .
_ Yours very tray,
COW0-4J4,
E.
