This bill attempts to <br /> provide a statewide uniform standard to the issue of road hunting. There <br /> are over 70 local acts on the books now which causes a lot of confusion <br /> for hunters, wildlife officers and the public. Senate Bill 339 would re- <br /> peal all these local acts and prohibit road hunting except on two lane <br /> roads by land owners or lease owners (a hunting rights lease would suffice). - <br /> This bill has been sent to' the Senate Committee on Marine Resources <br /> and Wildlife.
