Sound and <br /> accepted horticultural practices shall be used to protect the <br /> root zones of all retained existing plant material during <br /> construction and also during underground utility <br /> installation (refer to Article 12.2.1) . All new landscaping <br /> shall be of good quality and installed in a sound, <br /> workmanship-like manner and according to the following <br /> planting procedures: <br /> a. Planting holes should be dug at least one-third (1/3) <br /> larger than the root ball. (See Figure 12.3 and Figure <br /> 12.4) <br /> ' b.
