Z-4-89 Thomas S. Whisnant and R. Gary Phillips <br /> The property in question is located on the north side of <br /> NC 54, at and west of the intersection of NC 54 and White <br /> Cross. Road. It is known as part of Lot 8 of Tax Map 30 <br /> of Bingham Township. The total tract contains 9.49 <br /> acres, and fronts on NC 54 for a length of 462 feet. The <br /> area proposed for rezoning includes 2.65 acres along the <br /> frontage on NC 54, at a depth of about 255 feet. There <br /> are three zone changes proposed within the 2.65-acre <br /> area: one acre, located at the southwest corner of the <br /> tract, fronting on Hwy 54, proposed to be rezoned from <br /> Rural Residential (R1) to Neighborhood Commercial (NC-2) ; <br /> and .65 acres on the southeast corner of the tract, <br />
