3 <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> ON <br /> PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ATLAS AND ORDINANCE, <br /> AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS <br /> FOR ORANGE COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Pursuant to the requirements of the General Statutes of <br /> North Carolina, Chapter 153A, Sections 323 and 343, and <br /> Article 20, Sections 20.5 and 20. 6, of the Orange County <br /> Zoning Ordinance, and Section IX of the Orange County <br /> Subdivision Regulations, notice is hereby given that a public <br /> hearing will be held in the Superior Courtroom of the Orange <br /> County Courthouse (New) , 106 East Margaret Lane, <br /> Hillsborough, North Carolina, on Monday, May 22, 1989, at <br /> 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of giving all interested citizens <br /> an opportunity to speak for or against the following items: <br /> ASSIGNMENT OF HOUSE NUMBERS <br /> The postal service routes proposed for a change from existing <br /> rural box numbers to a system of permanently assigned house <br /> numbers are as follows: <br /> 1. Rural Route 10 - Chapel Hill <br /> Route 10, Chapel Hill, encompasses an area from a point <br /> approximately one mile south of Dodson's Crossroads, <br /> extending southward along Dodson's Crossroads South to <br /> White Cross, and including The Trails Subdivision, Twin <br /> Streams Subdivision, Pusseycat Lane, Blueberry Lane, <br /> Gait Way and Bridle Spur; moving counterclockwise south <br /> of White Cross along Butler Road and Whitecross Road to <br /> Old Greensboro Road, and including Brightside Drive; <br /> moving eastward along Old Greensboro Road to Carl Durham <br /> Road, and including Indian Camp Road, Heron Pond Road, <br /> Edwards Drive, Foxfire Drive and Ford Road; then <br /> northward along Butler Road to Hwy 54, proceeding <br /> eastward from White Cross along Hwy 54 to Bethel-Hickory <br /> Grove Church Road, and including Trice-Atwater Road, <br /> Elva Lane, Greenfield Road, Sertoma Road, Leslie Drive, <br /> and Letta Drive. The eastern Boundary of Route 10 abuts <br />
