Zoning Map <br /> After the Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan is adopted the next <br /> step will be to prepare a zoning map for the 10 and 20 year transi- <br /> tion areas on the Chapel HIII and Carrboro sides of the JPA. The <br /> 101 <br /> process will involve translating land use plan categories Into <br /> zoning district categories which specify certain uses at particular <br /> densities. These categories will be considered for adoption by <br /> Orange County and, upon approval , recorded in the County's Zoning <br /> Atlas. <br /> 11 . Development Standards in the Transition Areas <br /> The current Joint Planning Agreement also specifies that upon <br /> completion of the land use plan and zoning map, Orange County shall <br /> adopt on the Chapel Hill side of the Joint Planning area located <br /> within the ten and twenty year transition zones.
