Describe the specific project for which Town of Chapel Hill <br /> HoteVMotel Grant funds are to be used. <br /> The Saturday School for Seniors program is designed to <br /> identify and meet the educational and leisure needs of senior <br /> citizens in the Chapel Hill area and provide opportunities <br /> for social interaction among program participants. Special <br /> interest classes are offered for senior citizens on Saturday <br /> mornings at Phillips Junior High School, and refreshments are <br /> served during a break in classes. <br /> 2. All successful proposals must contain Information Services and/or <br /> Cultural aspects. How does this project address these criteria? <br /> Course offerings include: classes in computers, financial <br /> planning, gourmet cooking, writing reminiscences, a broad <br /> spectrum of arts and leisure classes, poetry, the political <br /> • arena, bridge, and many others. <br />
