3 <br /> VIVIEN DODSON AND VIVIAN BEST MINOR SUBDIVISION <br /> PARTIAL WIDTH RIGHT-OF-WAY CHECKLIST <br /> (Adopted from Orange County Subdivision Regulations Section <br /> IV-B-3-c-2) <br /> NATURE OF SUBDIVISION <br /> - Topography - gradual incline, sloping away from Old <br /> NC 86 due west <br /> - Surrounding area - single family .residences <br /> - Future Road Plans - Class C Private Road less than <br /> 500 feet in length <br /> - Access by public safety vehicles - topography good, <br /> existing driveway satisfies Orange County's Class C <br /> private road standards <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD: The road does not require construction <br /> to Orange County standards because it <br /> is less than 500 feet in length, <br /> however, the existing driveway <br /> satisfies the County's standards. <br /> RIGHT-OF-WAY WIDTH: 25 feet wide with a length of 210 <br /> feet, 50 feet wide with a length of <br /> 250 feet. <br /> - Fire District is Orange Rural Fire District <br /> - The 25 foot right-of-way would be adequate for a <br /> Class ° private road (8 foot travelway, maximum 4 <br /> foot shoulder, 4 foot ditch) . <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> - The provision of a full right-of-way is difficult <br /> due to the location of existing house and septic <br /> system. <br /> - The Orange County Health Department, Environmental <br /> Health Division, requires the preservation of a <br /> septic repair area. <br />
