ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT 092 <br /> 306F REVERE ROAD <br /> HILLSBOROUGH, NORTH CAROLINA 27278 <br /> ri! eity0 <br /> February 10, 1989 <br /> Dear Property Owner: <br /> The enclosed legal notice is being sent to you because <br /> you are listed as owning property within five hundred (500) <br /> feet of an area being considered for amendment in the Land <br /> Use Element of the Orange County Comprehensive Plan. The <br /> purpose of the amendment is to promote consistency between <br /> the Plan and the Orange County Zoning Atlas. <br /> The amendment is referenced as LUP-2-89 Activity Node <br /> E-2 - Eno Township. Please see item 3 under cOMPREHENSIVE <br /> PLAN AMENDMENTS on pages 2 and 3 of the legal notice for a <br /> description of the proposal. A property map of the proposed <br /> amendment is included on the back of this letter. <br /> The proposed amendment would enlarge the existing <br /> 20-Year Transition Area at said interchange by approximately <br /> 25 acres. Three lots are currently zoned GC-4 (General <br /> Commercial) . it is these three lots which have created the <br /> need to consider revision of the boundaries of the Transition <br /> Area. By virtue of being included in the Transition Area, <br /> owners of the other lots would be eligible to apply for <br /> rezoning to other non-residential zones which are compatible <br /> with the Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> If you have questions about the proposal, you may call <br /> the Planning Department between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm at 732- <br /> 818].
