It is known as Lot <br /> 27A of Tax Map 26 in Bingham Township. The existing <br /> lot contains 2.94 acres and is currently in the AR - <br /> Agricultural Residential Zoning District. The <br /> applicant is requesting that 1.92 acres be rezoned to <br /> the NC-2 - Neighborhood Commercial District. <br /> The property is located within the BH-1 Rural <br /> Neighborhood Activity Node as designated in the <br /> Comprehensive Plan. <br /> • The Comprehensive Plan states that the NC-2 zone may <br /> be applied to no more than 5.0 acres within an <br /> activity node of rural population density. <br /> At present there are 3.08 acres within the node in the <br /> NC-2 zone, thus a maximum of an additional 1.92 acres <br /> of NC-2 may be approved. <br /> 410 Letters have been submitted from the Orange County <br /> Sheriff's Department, South Orange Rescue Squad and <br /> Orange Grove Volunteer Fire Department indicating that <br />
