ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT 022 <br /> 306F REVERE ROAD <br /> HILLSBOROUGH, NORTH CAROLINA 27278 <br /> e VOW <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> ON THE ASSIGNMENT OF <br /> HOUSE NUMBERS TO RURAL ROUTE 1, HILLSBOROUGH <br /> IN ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. <br /> Pursuant to the requirements of the General Statutes of N.C. , <br /> Chapter 153A, Section 240, notice is hereby given that a <br /> Public Hearing will be held in the Superior Courtroom of the <br /> New County Courthouse in Hillsborough, N.C. at 7:30 p.m. on <br /> Monday, February 27, 1989 for the purpose of giving all <br /> interested citizens an opportunity to speak for or against <br /> the assignment of house numbers on Rural Route 1 <br /> Hillsborough. <br /> ASSIGNMENT OF HOUSE NUMBERS <br /> Hillsborough Rural Route 1 is proposed for a change from <br /> existing rural box numbers to a system of permanently <br /> assigned house numbers. Route 1, Hillsborough, consists of <br /> 411 <br /> that portion of St. Mary's Road northeastward from New Sharon <br /> Church Road to Durham County, and including Dumont Drive, Oak <br /> Knob Court, Cedar Trail and Stagg Road. Also included are <br /> that portion of Guess Road from Durham County to Walker's <br /> Farm Road; westward along Walker's Farm Road to New Sharon <br /> Church Road, including Devonwood Road, Lansdale Road, Island <br /> Road and Russell Circle; then south along New Sharon Church <br /> Road to Schley Road and including Richard Lane. <br /> All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing <br /> and be heard. Public comment must be received during the <br /> Public Hearing. Changes may be made in the advertised <br /> proposal which reflect debate, objections and discussion at <br /> the hearing. <br /> Questions regarding thp proposal should be directed to Don <br /> Powell in the Orange County Planning Department. The <br /> Planning Department is located in the <br /> Agricultural-Environmental Center, 306-F Revere Road in <br /> Hillsborough.
