<br /> of the North Carolina Railroad Company (now Southern Railway Company) at
<br /> the corner of the property owned by W. G. Strayhorn, said point being the
<br /> Northeast corner of Tract No 17 on the Plat herein after referred to,
<br /> and running thence from said Point South 110 West, 232 feet to a point
<br /> on the Northern side of the margin of the old Durham-and Hillsboro,
<br /> Main Highway, (Not the new paved Highway) thence in an Eastern direction
<br /> ' along the Northern side of said Durham and Hillsboro Highway 5047 feet
<br /> to a stake or point, at the Southeast corner of Tract No 21 , on the Map
<br /> hereinafter referred to; thence North 10 15' East 886, 5 feet, to an
<br /> iron stake; thence North 500 30' East, 718 feet to a point; thence
<br /> North 74° 35' East, 572 feet to a stake or point; thence North 620
<br /> 15' East 60 feet to a point; thence North 300 35' West 215 feet to stone
<br /> Creek; thence with the meanders of said Stone Creek, North 60° East 116
<br /> feet,. to the right-of-way of the North Carolina Railroad Company now

<br /> Southern Railway Company thence in a Western direction along the
<br /> boundary line of the North Carolina Railroad, right-of-way, to the
<br /> point or place of beginning and being a portion of Tracts Nos. 17-1819
<br /> 20 and 21, of the B. N. Duke property in Orange County N; C. as shown
<br /> on Plat and survey made by J. B. Harding, C. E. in March 1916, and June 1919
<br /> and recorded in the Office of the Register of Deeds of Orange
<br /> County, in Book of Deeds_75, page 524, to which may reference is here
<br /> with made for a more complete and perfect description of said property.
<br /> Said property being Bounded on the North-by the right-of-way of, the N. C.
<br /> R. R. Co. on the West by the lands of W. G. Strayhorn, and on the South
<br /> by the old Durham and Hillsboro Highway; and on the East by the property
