Fikes <br /> TELEPHONE NUMBER- <br /> Hillsborough - 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill - 968-4501 <br /> Mebane - 227-2031 <br /> Durham - 688-7331 <br /> PURPOSE: To receive comments from the public concerning the <br /> proposed Interim Assistance Grant Application. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Colic Development Company acting as agent for a <br /> group of private investors proposing development of a <br /> 50 unit division, known as Culbreth Park, to provide <br /> housing for low and moderate income homebuyers. This <br /> company is asking Orange County to apply for Interim <br /> Assistance funding in the amount of 4 million dollars <br /> for construction loan financing from the Department of <br /> Natural Resources and Community Development (NRCD) on <br /> behalf of Culbreth Park, Inc. a neighborhood based non- <br /> profit created for this project . <br /> NRCD requires applicants to conduct a public hearing to <br /> obtain citizen comments prior to beginning the <br /> application process. Citizen input will be reviewed and <br /> considered during the application preparation process. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : Receive as information. <br />
