Provide financial support uf transportation as follows: <br /> There will be .no financial support from ACTION. <br /> 3. Sponsor Obligations <br /> The Sponsor will: <br /> a. As requested by ACTION, assit:t in the recruitment and selection of <br /> applicants to become volunteers. <br /> b. Assist in the provision of pre-service and in-service training, as <br /> specified in the Project Narrative. <br /> c. Accomplish the goals and ebjeccives set out for the Volunteers in <br /> the Project Narrative. <br /> d. Provide supervision for the Volunteers as described in the Project <br /> Narrative and paragraph 4 hereof. The Volunteer Supervisor shall have <br /> the qualifications described in the Project Narrative. No Volunteer <br /> Supervisor may be appointed without the prior approval of ACTION. <br /> e. Provide on-the-job transportation and other project support as <br /> specified in the Project Narrative and paragraph 4 hereof. <br /> f. Maintain such records and accounts, and make such reports and investi- <br /> gations concerning matters involving Volunteers and the project as <br /> ACTION may require. The Sponsor agrees to retain such records as <br /> ACTION may require for a period of three years after completion or <br /> termination of the project, and to provide access to such records to <br /> ACTION and the Comptroller General of the United States for the purpose <br /> of audit or examination. <br /> g. Advance up to $500 to any Volunteer (reimbursable by ACTION) in case <br /> of an emergency (i. e. critical illness or death in the immediate family). <br /> -3- <br /> • <br />
