2 <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> FROM: HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION <br /> Enclosed is a request to amend the composition of the HSAC <br /> (part 4A) in the original description of the Commission. In <br /> addition, we request that the terms of office run from July 1 <br /> to June 30 (part 4C) . It is our hope that all appointments <br /> can be made in the late spring and new member orientation can <br /> be held annually in July. <br /> Finally, in recognition of the fact that the schools are <br /> providers of human services in our county, we request that <br /> the Board consider expanding the composition of the HSAC <br /> (part 4A) to include a nominee from each of the school <br /> boards. <br /> For further discussion of any of these points, please feel <br /> free to contact either of the officers, Karen Metzguer or <br /> Peggy Pollitzer . <br /> Thank you for your support. <br />
