This <br /> is a continuation of the November 28, 1988 Public <br /> Hearing. <br /> BACKGROUND: A proposal was submitted by the Meadowlands to amend <br /> signage requirements in the I-1 Industrial Zone. The <br /> requested changes pertain to signs permitted in the <br /> Major Transportation Corridor, sign setbacks and <br /> square footage, and the addition of a provision for <br /> entrance signs to industrial developments. <br /> The following are requested changes and Planning Staff <br /> recommendations reguarding these changes: <br /> - Increase the number of signs in the MTC from 2 to 4 <br /> or increase the square footage for directional signs <br /> from 4 to 9 square feet. <br /> The Planning Staff recommends a 10 foot sign setback <br /> along frontage of interior streets and a 25 foot <br /> setback on perimeter streets. <br />
