The plan shall be dated and signed by <br /> the Section Chief and shall be kept in a confidential <br /> file by the Section Chief. <br /> (3) A representative of the Section may make unannounced <br /> visits to any licensed center whenever the Section <br /> receives a complaint alleging violation of the licensing <br /> . law or the rules in this Subchapter, or if a <br /> representative of the Section has reason to believe an <br /> emergency exists in the center. <br /> - - <br /> History Note: Statutory Authority G.S. 110-105; 143B-168.3; <br /> • Eff. January 1, 1986. <br /> . 0202 CENTERS SUBJECT TO LICENSURE - - <br /> Any child care arrangement where six or more children under 13 <br /> years of age (not including the operator' s own school-aged <br /> children as defined in this Subchapter) , receive care, on a <br /> regular basis of at least once per week, for more than four <br /> --lours but less than 24 hours per day, regardless of the time of <br /> day and regardless of whether the same children attend <br /> regularly, must be licensed. These arrangements include, but <br /> are not limited to: <br /> (1) Day care centers, including those which operate for <br /> twenty-four hours per day; <br /> (2) , Nursery schools; <br /> (3) Temporary care arrangements, including those which . <br /> provide care on a seasonal, drop-in, part-time, or <br /> after-school basis as defined in Rule .0102 (26) of <br /> this Subchapter; <br /> (4) Preschool programs housed in a public school building. <br /> History Note: Statutory Authority G.S. 110-86 (3) ; 143B-168.3; <br /> Eff.
