JANUARY 1, 1987) <br /> • . <br /> SECTION . 0100 - PURPOSE AND DEFINITIONS - <br /> .0202 PURPOSE <br /> The Rules in this Subchapter prescribe the procedures and <br /> standards for licensure of child day care centers and <br /> registration of day care homes. <br /> • <br /> History Note: Statutory Authority G.S.110-88; 143B-168.1: <br /> 143B-168.3; <br /> Eff. January 1, 1986. <br /> .0102 DEFINITIONS <br /> The terms and phrases used in this Subchapter shall be defined <br /> as follows except when the content of the Rule clearly requires <br /> a different meaning. The definitions prescribed in G.S. 220-86 <br /> also apply to these Rules. . <br /> - (1) "Agency" means the Child Day Care Section, Division of <br /> Facility Services, Department of Human Resources, <br /> located at 701 Barbour Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina <br /> 27603 • . - . <br /> _ - . • . <br /> .. <br /> . . <br /> (2) . "After School Care" means' day care provided to <br /> ---... <br /> school-aged children as defined in Paragraph (22) of <br /> ) - this Rule which does not exceed four hours on a school <br /> : *day.
