The proposed amendment would add <br /> • certain electrical substations, metering, and switching <br /> stations to the list of uses permitted by right in any zone <br /> and to add design standards applicable to the installation of <br /> such facilities. <br /> IMPACTS/ISSUES: <br /> The proposed amendments would permit, by right, electric <br /> substations, switching stations, metering points, and related <br /> transmission lines where such facilities receive no more than <br /> 100 kilovolts (kv) of electric power. All, such uses currently <br /> require a-Cliss A Special Use Permit.
