At that meeting, <br /> advised the Board of the need to maintain consistency <br /> between the land use element of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> and the Zoning Ordinance. The Board requested more <br /> information concerning this consistency requirement and <br /> an analysis of the relationship between zoning changes <br /> being considered and the Land Use Plan. <br /> Section 20. 3.2 of the Zoning Ordinance <br /> 1 . requires any application for a zoning change to state <br /> "the manner in which the proposed Zoning Atlas. . . <br /> amendment will carry out the intent and purpose of the <br /> adopted Comprehensive Plan or part thereof. . . . " <br /> Article 4 of the Zoning Ordinance contains the <br /> permitted use regulations of the ordinance.
