This profile includes the required academic training, <br /> professional experience, leadership,management and personal characteristics related to the success of <br /> the candidate in the position of Director of Housing, Human Rights and Community Development. The <br /> recruitment brochure will also have a profile that captures the essence of the County as a highly-attractive <br /> venue for the successful candidate to live and work. <br /> To prepare the recruitment brochure, the Recruitment Co-Project Team Leaders will come on site to meet <br /> with the Human Resources Director and designated staff to discuss the required background,professional <br /> experience and management and leadership characteristics for your Director of Housing, Human Rights <br /> and Community Development position. We meet with the Human Resources Director and designated <br /> County staff to broaden our understanding of the position's leadership and management requirements, <br /> current issues, strategic priorities and to identify expectations for the Director of Housing, Human Rights <br /> and Community Development. <br /> Information obtained from these meetings, coupled with our review of the job description and other <br /> County documents,is used to prepare a position and candidate profile. The completed profiles will be <br /> approved by the Human Resources Director before recruitment begins. The position and candidate <br /> profiles will be central to our recruitment strategy and outreach to candidates. <br /> The Recruitment Project Team will also work with Orange County to develop an advertising and <br /> marketing strategy to notify potential candidates about the vacancy and conduct an open recruitment that <br /> encourages applications from a talented and diverse pool of candidates. Our Team will place ads in <br /> appropriate professional publications,websites and local print media,if required. Additionally, S1 W has <br /> a highly-accessed website that has a special location attracting many potential candidates to upload their <br /> resumes.
