He said many corrections have been made, which should <br /> help limit appeals. <br /> Chair Dorosin said he appreciates all the effort put into the revaluation, and this <br /> process was designed to accurately reflect the value of a property. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs spoke about the previous revaluation in 2009, which was not as <br /> rigorous as the current one, and noted there were so few property sales due to the recession. <br /> He said this process made it clear that additional staff were needed earlier in the process. He <br /> said in the last revaluation, the appeals process was advertised so that it was clear to the <br /> public. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs suggested that Dwane Brinson invite Realtor Joe Phelps in to <br /> talk about the revaluation, since he is always negative about it. <br /> 5.
