(yCC) is an organization empowering today's youth to create <br /> positive changes in their lives and their communities. We are dedicate to building youth <br /> leadership through organizing, entrepreneurship and economic development. We currently <br /> have 35 members in our two clubs, the Chapel Hill/Carrboro club and our <br /> Hillsborough/Cedar Grove club. Later this year our glans are to organize a third club in the <br /> western part of the county (Efland). <br /> We are a youth led, youth run organization building leadership skills with the youth <br /> between 13 to 18 years old. We are requesting funding of $1,680.00 to provide <br /> scholarships for three youth and one adult leader to attend a leadership conference in San <br /> Antonio,Texas from April 4-7,2002. the funding will cover registration fee, lodging and <br /> airfare. <br /> Everyone in our organization appreciates your support to Youth Creating Change in <br /> providing the opportunity for us to attend this conference.
