2 <br /> • Follow up visits with department heads in early March to discuss position comparisons and <br /> internal salary relationships. <br /> As presently planned, the remaining study steps include: <br /> • Reviewing draft results and class descriptions with department heads and employees in late <br /> March and April <br /> • Presenting the final Classification and Pay Study report and results to Board of <br /> Commissioners in a budget work session. <br /> • Making recommendations as to funding and implementation of the study in the Manager's <br /> Recommended Budget. <br /> • Board decision during the June work sessions on the action the Board wishes to take in <br /> implementing the Classification and Pay study results. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. Future impact is contingent on the Board of Commissioners' <br /> direction. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board receive the report, discuss <br /> the information as desired, advise staff, of any follow up questions and provide any feedback or <br /> direction to staff that it wishes to provide at this stage of the study process. <br />
