11 <br />SECTION II SCOPE <br />13. Long-Term Implementation - We will recommend a process to the County for <br />for ther identifying longer-term demands (beyond 10 years) for Fire, EMS, and <br />Rescue Services within the County. <br />a. Develop and provide criteria for identifying the future need for services; <br />b, Identify the data needed to address anticipated service demands; <br />C, Transfer the methodology for determining the appropriate number and location <br />of future fire stations and/or EMS or rescue squads that will be needed to meet <br />the identified/anticipated demands. <br />14. Public Education Programs - We will evaluate current countywide public <br />education programs on public safety, the cost of implementing those programs, <br />modified or additional programs that can add to the self-sufficiency of the <br />public in disasters. <br />Deliverahles and Presentations <br />We will deliver a comprehensive, detailed report that includes our findings (descriptions of <br />the current environment, organization, operations, resources, and location of current <br />resources), observations (our' analysis of those findings and our own creative assessment of <br />alternatives), and our reconmendations Our recommendations will be specific and <br />implementable. A detailed implementation plan and schedule will be provided. We will also <br />include financial projections and estimates of'cost as they related to our recommendations. <br />A draft report will be prepared and submitted for comment to the client advisory team for <br />their ' review and comment. <br />Specifically, consistent with the RFP, we agree to provide: <br />I . A comprehensive set of alternatives and recommendations concerning the issues <br />presented in the scope of study, a written and oral report to the County. (Proposed <br />action plans) <br />2. Briefings with representatives of the volunteer fue stations, Emergency Management, <br />and rescue squads, participating jurisdictions, and project manager at predetermined <br />intervals. <br />3. Draft report provided approximately one (1) month into the project. <br />4. Monthly progress reports (we will provide bi-weekly reports). <br />5 Final written report within 90 days of the contract award. <br />6. Presentation of the report to the elected County officials, participating jurisdictions <br />elected officials, and senior staff of all participating,jurisdictions. <br />T Written or verbal comments from all Fire, EMS, and Rescue organizations on study <br />findings. (They will be involved in reviewing the draft and we will document all
