He said there were people that insisted that the whole area near <br /> 11 Millhouse Road Park and the Chapel Hill Operation Facility was part of Rogers Road. He said, <br /> 12 moving forward, there should be transparency with the community about the possible use of <br /> 13 these lands. She resumed the presentation: <br /> 26 <br /> 27 • Highway 54 West (2.9 acres) <br /> 28 o From Rural Buffer to Carrboro ETJ <br /> 29 o Discussed with Town of Carrboro at October 13, 2016 joint meeting <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Commissioner Jacobs referred to the BOCC fall meeting with the Town of Carrboro, and <br /> 32 asked if there was an update regarding the 75% development of transition area one. <br /> 33 Perdita Holtz said she spoke with Carrboro staff, and said there have been some <br /> 34 preliminary calculations done, and the area is very close 75%. She said more specific <br /> 35 calculations are being worked on currently. <br /> 36 Commissioner Jacobs said there was some sentiment about discussing a more <br /> 37 comprehensive look at the intersections of interest between Carrboro and the County on <br /> 38 Highway 54, as far as updating land use. He said there was a string of lots on Highway 54 that <br /> 39 could be reviewed comprehensively. He said he would like to reintroduce that concept. <br /> 40 Perdita Holtz said she does not have an update on this topic. <br /> 41 Chair Dorosin said to forward this as a petition, and he will follow up with the Manager <br /> 42 and the Town of Carrboro. <br /> 43 Perdita Holtz resumed the presentation: <br /> 44 <br /> 45 WASMPBA Primary Service Area <br /> 46 • Millhouse Road area currently outside of Primary Service Area (PSA) <br /> 47 • Sunrise Road area is within PSA <br /> 48 • Old Lystra Road area was moved out of urban services area when WASMPBA was <br /> 49 adopted in 2001 <br /> 50 • Highway 54 West area is outside of PSA& proposed to remain outside (service by well <br /> 51 & septic) <br />
