Fikes, ext 2490 <br />PURPOSE: To present to the Board of Commissioners the Annual Affordable Housing <br />Performance Report from the Orange County Affordable Housing Advisory Board. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Orange County Affordable Housing Advisory Board was created in 2001 as the official <br />advisory body on affordable housing to the Orange County Board of Commissioners. One of <br />the activities of this Board is to provide information regarding the affordable housing <br />accomplishments in the County. Allan Rosen, Chair will present the Annual Performance <br />Report for 2005. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />During the fiscal year 2004-2005, the County utilized approximately $800,000 in federal, state, <br />and local funding for affordable housing projects. <br />RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board receive the presentation <br />of the Affordable Housing Performance Report as information.
