"It gives the general public something to talk to <br /> the participants about." <br /> This year,the art course consisted of six weekly classes,but it has become so <br /> popular Extraordinary Ventures is launching a new spring series beginning in 2015. <br /> Extraordinary Art works in tandem with social events, such as an Arc program <br /> called Friday Night Live, that occur in the same space immediately after the class. <br /> Volunteers at the Extraordinary Art classes range from civic-minded UNC-Chapel Hill <br /> students to business teams seeking an opportunity to bond over community service. <br /> Extraordinary Art is supported by the Orange County Arts Commission grant. <br /> The classes are open to anyone,but there is a$25 registration fee to offset costs of <br /> materials. Extraordinary Ventures is always grateful for donors and volunteers who help <br /> sponsor the program. <br /> The Arc of Orange County is a non-profit organization that serves and empowers <br /> people with developmental disabilities.
