The classes culminate in a free public art gallery called An Artful Affair.
"People can sometimes have trouble with communication," said Cyndi Whisnant,
event director of Extraordinary Ventures. "But quite often they have visual gifts. We want
to tap into that not only for their own benefit but for people in the community to learn
about them in that way, through their artwork."
This year's gallery will be at 200 S. Elliott Road from 7 p.m.to 9 p.m.As always, all of
the artists will be present to tell visitors about their work. The Junior League is sponsoring
a free preview party and silent auction in the same space from 5:30 p.m.to 7 p.m.
Refreshments will be served at both the preview party and the gallery.
-MORE-
