4 <br />11. The 2005 -06 budget provides $613,847 in funds to reinstate the In -Range Salary Increase <br />program in 2005 -06. Funds are used to grant a 4 percent In -Range Salary Increase to <br />employees whose work performance is "Proficient" or higher effective with the employee's <br />performance review date. This budget amendment provides for the transfer of $613,847 <br />from the in -range salary adjustment account to individual departments in the General Fund <br />to cover the additional salary costs. (See Attachment 1, column #11) <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts are included in the background information above. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve the attached budget ordinance and capital project ordinance amendments. <br />
