A new driveway has been built across the southeast corner of the field <br /> to access the new house from Castell Lane. An area of trees has been cleared for the new <br /> home site. The approximate location of the residential building envelope is shown on <br /> Attachment H. <br /> One of the former logging roads(now a footpath) leads from the home site south and east <br /> past rocky outcrops and through mature trees to the section of abandoned roadway that helps <br /> form the eastern boundary between Lot 2 and Lot 1-R(Lot 1-A). <br /> Easement Summary <br /> It is the purpose of this Conservation Easement to a) ensure that the Easement Area will be <br /> retained forever predominantly in its natural, forested,and open space condition;b)to protect <br /> native plants and animals,or plant communities on the Easement Area,while allowing <br /> traditional uses that are compatible with and not destructive of the conservation values of the <br /> Easement Area such as selective timber harvesting, farming of existing pastures and fields, <br /> and artistic activities;and c)to prevent any use of the Easement Area that will impair or <br /> interfere with the conservation values or interests of the Easement Area. <br /> Activities that would affect the Easement Area and are inconsistent with the purposes of this <br /> Conservation Easement are not permitted. <br /> Photo'Documentation <br /> A variety of ground photos of the Easement Area were taken by the ERCD staff to help <br /> document the condition of the property. A list of photos and a map showing the locations of <br /> the photos is provided as Attachment I.
