22 <br /> 5 <br /> Hill Police Department where the carrying of such weapon <br /> is part of the display, program or event for which the <br /> street or right of way is temporarily closed. <br /> Violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor and <br /> shall be subject to a fine of $500 . or. imprisonment for <br /> not more than 30 days. " <br /> Section 2 . Chapter 11, Article VII of the Town Code is hereby <br /> amended by adding a new Section 11-84 to read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 11-84 . Prohibition on possession of weapons on <br /> Town buses. <br /> No person shall carry, possess or use any firearm or <br /> other dangerous weapon while aboard a bus operated by the <br /> town. This section shall not apply to law enforcement or <br /> other government personnel acting within the scope of <br /> their employment. <br /> Violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor and <br /> shall be subject to a fine of $500. or imprisonment for <br /> not more than 30 days. " <br /> Section 3 .. Chapter 20, Article I of the Town Code is hereby <br /> amended by adding a new Section 20-5 to read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 20-5 . Prohibition on possession of weapons in <br /> taxis and limousines. <br /> No person shall carry, possess or use any firearm or <br /> other dangerous weapon while aboard any taxi or limousine <br /> or other means of public conveyance. This section shall <br /> not apply to law enforcement or other government <br /> personnel acting within the scope of their employment. <br /> Violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor and <br /> shall be subject to a fine of $500. or imprisonment for <br /> not more than 30 days . " <br /> Section 4 . This Ordinance shall become effective upon <br /> adoption. <br /> This the 13th day of April , 1992 . <br />
