I live on Arthur Minnis Road, which becomes
Bradshaw Quarry Road, approximately one mile east of the
intersection in question.
Although the materials you sent me did not include a list of
permitted activities within a Rural Neighborhood Activity Node, it
is my understanding that Bobby Kirk, Sr. and Bobby Kirk, Jr. would
like to build a "country store" at this intersection, and that the
proposed redesignation is the first step in obtaining approval for
such an enterprise.
With all due respect to a neighbor' s desire to use his
property, I am very concerned about the potential impact of this
proposed change. In addition, I already see enough beer cans and
trash thrown out along Arthur Minnis Road to be apprehensive about
a new source of litter just up the road.
Because I do not have any information either as to the exact
nature of the commercial enterprise contemplated, or as to the
activities permitted under the proposed amendment, it is difficult
to voice a specific objection. However, I believe that any
