42 <br /> 6.23.11 WATER SUPPLY/SEWAGE DISPOSAL FACILITIES <br /> The 300' stream setback for septic systems in critical areas has been deleted. Also <br /> deleted is the prohibition of off-site septic easements outside of the University Lake <br /> Watershed. The provision (currently contained in the Subdivision Regulations)that lots <br /> which provide a septic easement for another lot contain at least 20,000 square feet in <br /> addition to the minimum lot size has been added. <br /> DISTRICT WATER SUPPLY/SEWAGE DISPOSAL <br /> UNIV-CA Water supply and sewage treatment systems shall be limited to individual <br /> UNIV-PW wells and on-site septic tanks systems or individual on-site alternative <br /> disposal systems. <br /> No new treatment system will be permitted where effluent disposal <br /> occurs on a separate lot from the source of wastewater generation. <br /> Repair systems are permitted on a lot other than the lot which is the <br /> source of wastewater generation provided that the Orange County Health <br /> Department certifies that: <br /> 1. The residence or use has a failing system, AND <br /> there is not a suitable location for a repair system on the same lot <br /> as the residence or use, or <br /> 2.
