Watershed Protection Standards and <br /> Zoning of Little River and Cedar Grove Townships <br /> Comprehensive Plan Text Amendments <br /> Zoning Atlas (Map) Amendments <br /> Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments <br /> Subdivision Regulations Text Amendments <br /> Presentation by Mary Willis. <br /> On August 23, 1993, a public hearing was held to <br /> receive citizen comments on proposed amendments to <br /> the Orange County Zoning Atlas, Zoning Ordinance, <br /> Subdivision Regulations and Land Use Element of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan for the purpose of extending <br /> zoning to Little River and Cedar Grove Townships and <br /> implementing State mandated watershed protection <br /> standards. <br /> This item is to consider those proposed amendments <br /> and provide a recommendation to the Board of <br /> Commissioners on November 1, 1993 for a decision. <br /> The proposed effective date of new watershed and <br /> zoning provisions is January 1, 1994 . <br /> Some of the proposed watershed standards have been <br /> revised in response to comments received during and <br /> after the public hearing. Changes which result in <br /> less restrictive standards than those advertised in <br /> the August 23, 1993 Public Hearing Notice do not <br /> need to be readvertised for public hearing. Changes <br /> which are more restrictive, or changes which were <br /> not addressed at all in the original Public Hearing <br /> Notice may need to be re-advertised. There are two <br />
