27 <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Marcoplos to <br /> appoint Commissioner Jacobs to the GoTriangle BOD for the remainder of 2016 and all of <br /> 2017. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs said Commissioner Marcoplos had also expressed an interest, <br /> and he would like to insure that he is accepting of Commissioner Jacobs taking this position. <br /> Commissioner Marcoplos said he was approached a few months ago about serving on <br /> the GoTriangle Board, and while he is willing, he said Commissioner Jacobs would be the best <br /> representative. <br /> Commissioner McKee said he appreciated Commissioner Marcoplos being flexible, and <br /> putting the interest of the Board above his own. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> Commissioner Jacobs asked the Board to send questions to him before 8:30 a.m. <br /> tomorrow. <br /> Chair Dorosin said to make sure that Commissioner Jacobs has a copy of the last <br /> resolution passed, which contains points of concerns. He asked if Bonnie Hammersley would <br /> contact Commissioner Pelissier to update her on this change, and express the Board's thanks <br /> for her service. <br /> Donna Baker said she will contact the Clerk of the BOD to make her aware of the <br /> change, and the need to swear in Commissioner Jacobs. <br /> 8. County Manager's Report <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said at their places the Commissioners have a publication called <br /> "Growing Small Businesses in Orange County," created by the Economic Development <br /> Department, and reflects the work done from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. She said this is <br /> the first publication of its kind in Orange County, but will now be updated annually. She said it <br /> will be available on line, as well as hard copy. <br /> 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> John Roberts said the General Assembly is back in session, and a disaster relief item <br /> was accomplished today. <br /> 11. Appointments <br /> a. Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee —Appointment <br /> The Board considered making an appointment to the Nursing Home Community <br /> Advisory Committee. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Rich for the <br /> Board to appoint the following to the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee: <br /> • Appointment to a full first term (Position #12) "At-Large Nursing Home Administration" <br /> position for Vibeke Talley expiring 12/31/2019. <br />
