The attachment to this abstract notes these topics <br /> along with excerpts from the Approved sets of minutes on the Board's discussion of the <br /> following items: <br /> • For Board and staff to discuss eliminating the practice of attributing planning efforts to <br /> specific Board members <br /> • For the Chair and Vice Chair to discuss and provide the Board with clarifications on Board <br /> policy regarding the Board being represented on other boards by non-elected individuals <br /> • For the Board to discuss having elected officials from other entities serve on County <br /> boards. <br /> • For the Board to discuss revising the Regular Meeting Order of Business to move Board <br /> Comments to near the beginning of the meeting and/or combine with Announcements by <br /> Board Members <br /> • For the Board to discuss re-structuring the agenda order to reflect externally oriented <br /> items versus internally oriented agenda items. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with discussing these topics. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact applicable <br /> to this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board discuss the topics noted and <br /> any other matters of interest related to Board policies and procedures and provide direction to <br /> staff. <br />
