She had found <br /> that one door near a nurses station (an <br /> emergency exit) was all that was kept open <br /> after a certain time at night, usually around <br /> 9 : 00 p.m. , and other doors had alarms. <br /> Hamilton expressed concern that there was <br /> also a problem with people getting into such <br /> facilities and felt security should be more <br /> directed in that way. <br /> Jobsis stated that she felt more comfortable <br /> with the individual nursing homes making <br /> judgments regarding their security rather <br /> than a general County-wide resolution. <br /> Eidenier asked about fencing regulations for <br /> day care. Reid responded that the fencing <br /> for day care is a State regulation. Willis <br /> agreed. Willis continued that the intent of <br /> this proposed amendment is to give more <br /> flexibility with the different options for <br /> security and to assure that some security <br /> measures are in place. <br /> Jobsis stated that she supported the general <br /> concept that there should be security for the <br /> protection of the residents of the nursing <br /> home without the Planning Board getting too <br /> specific about how it is done. <br /> Hamilton, Hoecke, and Jobsis indicated that <br /> they felt this concern is addressed in the <br /> State standards and asked that it be <br />
