Several state agencies are <br /> responsible for the stewardship of this public trust.As <br /> the region's population continues to grow,public use <br /> of the sounds and waterways will increase as well. <br /> Greater conflicts are likely between various groups, <br /> including those who use the resources of public trust <br /> areas for profit.Therefore,closer coordination is nec- <br /> essary between the agencies that manage these re- <br /> sources.
