Items to be <br /> considered at the October 14, 1993 public hearing include the following: <br /> 1. Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS) for Orange County <br /> The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requires submittal <br /> of a CHAS by December 31, 1993. This item is being presented at the Joint <br /> Public Hearing because it involves and is of interest to all three jurisdictions. <br /> 2. Orange County Environmental Impact Ordinance <br /> Environmental Impact Statement - American Stone Quarry Expansion <br /> The Orange County Environmental Impact Ordinance requires submittal of an <br /> Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)for mining activity. The EIS is <br /> required when the Special Use Permit application is submitted, and is <br /> presented to the Board of Commissioners at the public hearing at which the <br /> Special Use Permit is presented. <br />
