8 <br /> EXHIBIT "B" <br /> ORANGE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE FACILITY <br /> CLARIFICATIONS TO THE SCOPE OF SERVICES INCLUDED WITHIN THE TOTAL DESIGN CONTRACT: <br /> 1. The design contract amount of$88,500 includes all work requested in the Orange County <br /> Request for Proposal; Public Works Maintenance Facility, which is hereby incorporated by <br /> reference as Exhibit "D". <br /> 2. The following services are excluded from this agreement. Should these services be <br /> requested of the designer, they shall be considered Additional Services: <br /> a. Turn Lane at NC 86, if required by the North Carolina Department of <br /> Transportation; <br /> b. Water and Sewer Extensions, if not provided by the Town of Hillsborough; <br /> c. Zoning/Planning related services which exceed requirements of the Town of <br /> Hillsborough's administrative review process. Administrative review is included in the <br /> Basic Architectural/Engineering fee cited on "Design Fee-Scope of Services", <br /> included as Exhibit "C"; <br /> d. Survey Services, topographic or other; <br /> e. Soils Engineering Investigation; <br /> f. Environmental Investigations; <br /> g. Environmental Impact Statement; <br /> h. Traffic Impact Statement. <br />
