As they began to work on the concept <br /> plan, articles began appearing in the newspapers <br /> regarding the proposed reservoir in Cedar Grove <br /> Township. He noted that a significant amount of <br /> money had been spent so they continued with the <br /> project. <br /> Eidenier noted that this was the purpose of <br /> concept plans to inform the applicants of <br /> potential problems. <br /> Hamilton noted that she felt that it is the <br /> responsibility of the buyer of the land to <br /> find out those potential problems. <br /> Cantrell reminded the Board that it is not <br /> appropriate for the Planning Board to consider <br /> the expense to the applicant and developers. <br /> There have been questions regarding decisions <br /> when financing/costs have been discussed. <br /> Mr. Thompson responded that his mention of money <br /> was simply to indicate that his clients had <br /> proceeded in good faith. He continued that they <br /> had also worked very closely with the Planning <br /> Department on their plans. <br /> Burklin indicated he would like to encourage <br /> communication between the applicants and the Town <br /> of Hillsborough so that this could be a mutually <br /> good plan for Hillsborough as well as the <br />
