Historic Preservation Commission <br /> Emily Cameron reported that the HPC has made <br /> application for Certified Local Government <br /> status. This would increase chances of obtaining <br /> grants. They have also made application for a <br /> 1993 grant from the State Historic Preservation <br /> Office. She concluded that the architectural <br /> survey of Chapel Hill Township is to be followed <br /> by an archaeological survey. <br /> g. Transportation Advisory Subcommittee <br /> Hamilton stated that she was unable to attend the <br /> last meeting of the TAS. She continued that she <br /> will be unable to continued on the TAS because of <br /> her present work hours . Hoecke is also a member <br /> of the TAS . <br /> h. Solid Waste Committee <br /> Gray reported that the Bingham TAC met on <br /> January 21 at the Orange Grove Community Building <br /> and members of the Solid Waste Committee and <br /> Solid Waste Management presented a program on the <br /> proposed manned solid waste sites for Orange <br /> County. The Committee asked that the TAC help <br /> locate properties for the manned sites . Gray <br /> continued that the Committee indicated that, when <br /> completed, there will be seven or nine manned <br /> sites and no more "greenboxes" . <br /> Scott expressed concern that more trash would be <br /> dumped on the side of the roads. Gray responded <br /> that was also a concern of the Committee and was <br /> discussed at length. <br /> AGENDA ITEM #10: SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS <br /> a.
