/7v <br /> (d) In the case of a finding that the Respondent has <br /> committed an unfair housing practice, has committed a violation of <br /> any provision of the " Public Accomodations and Public <br /> Transportation" article in this Ordinance, or has committed a <br /> violation of any provision the "Other Prohibited Discriminatory <br /> Acts " article in this Ordinance, then the following provisions <br /> shall also apply : <br /> 1 . the amount of punitive damages awarded under this section <br /> shall not exceed, for each complaining party : <br /> a . In an amount not exceeding ten thousand dollars ( $10, 000) <br /> if the Respondent has not been adjudged to have committed any prior <br /> • <br /> unlawful discriminatory housing practices; <br /> A <br /> b. In an amount not exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars <br /> ($25 , 000 ) if the Respondent has been adjudged to have committed one <br /> other unlawful discriminatory housing practice during the five-year <br /> period ending on the date of the filing of the Complaint ; or <br /> c . In an amount not exceeding fifty thousand dollars <br /> ($50 , 000 ) if the Respondent has been adjudged to have committed two <br /> or more unlawful discriminatory housing practices during the seven- <br /> year period ending on the date of the filing of the complaint . <br /> If the act (or act ) constituting the unlawful discriminatory <br /> housing practice (or practices) is committed by the same natural <br /> person who has been previously adjudged to have committed acts <br /> constituting an unlawful discriminatory housing practice, then the <br /> punitive damages set forth above may be imposed without regard to <br /> the period of time within which any subsequent discriminatory <br /> 49 <br />
