Bring your lunch and listen <br /> as Laurel Elizey, Nutritionist, prepares us to go grocery shopping. <br /> Customer Service Courses <br /> 11/09/93 It's A Jungle Out There: How To Deal With Beastly Behavior: <br /> 8:30 am-12:30 pm Humans don't always act like humans. One minute they're normal <br /> people, the next they're out of control. The trouble comes when they <br /> Government Services use their animal instincts--their primitive thinking patterns--instead of <br /> Center Meeting Room the rational part of the brain. Then tempers flare, conflicts appear, <br /> productivity declines, and stress levels increase. This workshop deals <br /> with irrational thinking that results in difficult behavior in your co- <br /> workers, your customers, other professionals with whom you must <br /> work, and yourself. The instructor will be Rosalie Blowe, a <br /> consultant and trainer. <br /> 11/18/93 Going Beyond The Smile: Providing quality customer service <br /> 9:00 am-12:00 Noon involves more than handling customer complaints. It means striving <br /> to provide customers with no reason to complain in the first place. <br /> Government Services Topics will include creating positive impressions, delivering on <br /> Center Meeting Room promises, handling emotional situations, and working together as a <br /> team. The instructor will be Cornelia Moore. <br /> Managerial/Supervisory Courses <br /> The Introduction To Supervision Series is designed for new supervisors or supervisors who have not <br /> previously participated in supervisory/management training, and who are directly responsible for the day- <br /> to-day operations of a work group. <br /> The five-course, 27-hour series is designed to be taken in its entirety and in the order listed. While <br /> courses will be offered at intervals throughout the semester, each course builds on previous courses, and <br /> later course in the series assume concepts taught in earlier courses.
