3 <br /> el:eafryet � - <br /> Fr <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COMMENTS TO ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF <br /> COMMISSIONERS REGARDING PROPOSED WATERSHED PROTECTION <br /> REQUIREMENTS FOR JORDAN LAKE, UNIVERSITY LAKE, AND CANE CREEK <br /> RESERVOIR <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public <br /> hearing on August 23, 1993 to receive comments on proposed changes to its watershed protection <br /> requirements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. That the Board of Directors of Orange Water and Sewer Authority endorses the <br /> principles embodied in the draft comments prepared by Authority staff as presented in the Board's <br /> August 12, 1993 agenda, Item 7, pertaining to Jordan Lake, University Lake, and Cane Creek <br /> Reservoir; and <br /> 2. That the Acting Chair or his designate is authorized to present a statement at the <br /> public hearing scheduled for August 23, 1993 which reflects the concerns of Orange Water and <br /> Sewer Authority that land use regulations for the Cane Creek Reservoir watershed be sufficiently <br /> stringent, particularly until a site specific study is completed, to adequately protect the water <br /> quality of the Cane Creek Reservoir. <br /> Adopted this 12th day of August 1993. <br /> 1'446.'.b.
